Will Regular Exercise Affect People With Asthma?

Posted in Asthma at 10:02 am by InfoWritter

I have heard a lot of a lot of talking about “Exercise-Induced” Asthma, but I do know a lot of athletes with asthma:

  • Mike Storm won a silver medal in the pentathlon at the 1984 games;
  • Rose Mota won Olympic gold in the marathlon for Portugal at the 1988 games;
  • Jacki Joyner-Kersee won gold medals for the heptathlon in 1998 and 1992 and the long jump in 1998, as well as bronze medals fro the long jumpin 1992 and 1996.
  • A lot of others with asthma, from track and field star Evelyn Ashford to professional dancer Christine Dakin of the Martha Graham Company to triathlee Chery Decker, have given their best to the sports they love most.

So before participating sport events, or regular exercise, please talk to YOUR doctor, different people have different opinions.
